Long a trusted name in skilled, compassionate nursing care, the VNA is a non-profit home care agency with an all volunteer Board of Directors. Accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP), the VNA provides quality home care services to residents of Luzerne County and parts of surrounding counties.
Programs Include:
- Visiting Nurse Association/Home-Health Services
A broad array of skilled nursing treatments, IV therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social work and home health aide services to acutely ill homebound patients. Teaching patients and/or families how to cope with health care is a major part of this program.
